Promising Practices and Marketing Strategies for Male Services
Patrice Zink, MA
April 12th, 2011
To increase the visibility and availability of male reproductive health care materials, the Region VIII Family Planning Training Center collected a variety of promising strategies, tools and curricula, and compiled them into: Promising Practices and Marketing Strategies for Male Services: A Compendium for Reproductive Health Providers. This electronic binder was developed as a resource for Title X Family Planning programs. Similar to a catalog, the compendium includes brief descriptions of visual aids, posters, flyers and cards, leaflets and brochures, video and audio recordings, electronic modes of outreach, and other resources. Material samples, when available, were also included in the compendium. This session will provide an orientation to the binder and its contents and highlight at least two items from the binder that may be useful to Title X clinics interested in increasing their outreach and marketing activities for males.
