The purpose of this webinar is to inform participants on how South Dakota law defines child abuse, to distinguish between child abuse and crimes against children, and to familiarize participants with the South Dakota misprision of a felony law and related criminal sex offense felony and misdemeanor laws. Participants will learn how to report child abuse and how to respond to requests for information from social services, law enforcement, and child protection teams. This session will also provide examples of Human Trafficking cases in South Dakota.
